A calm Dubai property website, built with AI

Lyka Realty helps people buy, rent, invest and lease in Dubai. I designed the site and built a working demo with AI as my coding partner.

The idea

Most property sites feel like portals: endless listings and pressure to call. Lyka wanted the opposite. Honest numbers, calm guidance and a clear next step.

So the site does four things well: helps people search, explains the areas, runs the numbers, and makes it easy to talk to a real advisor.

Process

How I built it with AI

AI wrote most of the code. The decisions stayed with me.

01

Start with words

I wrote a short brief first: who visits, what they need to do, and how the site should feel. Clear words gave the AI clear instructions.

02

Set the look

One typeface, warm neutrals, a deep plum accent and real Dubai photography. A fixed style kept every section consistent.

03

Build one section at a time

I described each section in plain language, the AI built it, and I checked it in the browser. Then I asked for changes until it felt right.

04

Use real content

Real areas, AED prices and real buying costs, like the 4% DLD transfer fee in the calculator. No placeholder text.

05

Polish and demo

Mobile layouts, small details and a final review, then a working demo on Vercel.

02

The site

What’s inside

Investment calculator: mortgage, yield and upfront costs

Neighbourhood guides with price and yield ranges

Properties, filtered by what matters

A four-step form to book a 15-minute call

Search

Buy, rent or off-plan

Calculator

Works just as well on mobile

Property page

One clear action: book a viewing

Reflection

What I learned

01

AI is fast, taste is still yours

It can build a section in minutes, but it doesn’t know what feels right. That part is the design.

02

Clear words, better output

The more specific the brief, the less back-and-forth.

03

Check everything

Every number, every screen size. The AI makes things look finished before they are.

04

What’s next

This is phase one: a working demo, not the live site yet. More features and updates are planned before launch.
